Keeping the bees
Before the summer was over I knew I needed to cover the beekeeping class being taught at the University for the first time in 30 years. The second to last week of summer classes turned out to be the best week to go fortunately. I went to a honey harvest and a beehive transferring lesson. I know now more than I ever needed to know about beekeeping.
I wrote a story, gathered audio and obviously took the photos. I was a demanding undertaking and quite overwhelming for my first go at writing and audio.

Oh I want to take a picture of that
As I walked to the tennis match today (which was a great success, images of those after I edit them) I passed Memorial Stadium. The lights were on even though the football team hasn’t lost since early December. On my way back, seeing that I had just missed the bus I wanted down the street, I took some time to make images to kill the 10 minutes before the next one.
I’m realizing a project may come out of this, Black and White Union

I have nothing to do!
The Sarah McFarland Memorial Bell Tower
Lame!
This eyesore isn’t that bad at night, since they don’t light it or draw attention to it. This is a 30 sec exposure
