The Photo Issue – My Sign Off
For the majority of the past week, I’ve spent my time preparing the first ever Daily Illini Photo Issue. After days of sorting through archives, rewriting captions and having nightmares I toned a photo wrong, the issue came out this morning. I was extremely relieved to not have any major errors and that the issue seems to be a success. After a full academic year in the editor’s chair it’s nice to leave on a high note.

I am excited to see if the staff can continue on the “Sight to see” gallery, since its contents are vastly different than anything else we offer.

Kodak Autographic Jr.

A year ago, this camera fell into my hands, and since Kodak announced today the end of production of Kodachrome film I thought I would try to make a nice image with it. I have only shot one roll of film with it, which has still not been developed. I am not a fan of film in this digital era: the chemicals are just so nasty and now unnecessary.
