On Saturday, ESPN College Gameday came to the Assembly Hall to make two live broadcasts before the 8pm game between the Michigan State Spartans and the Illinois Fighting Illini. The day was perfect for all the fans – national attention and an upset will over the No. 5 Spartans. Check out the DI audio slideshow of GameDay and the Spartans-Illini game. My final shutter count at the end of the day was 1925 shots; here are my 8 favorite.

Men’s Tennis vs. VT

Friday night I shot inside the dreaded Atkins Tennis Center, where the lights point up at the ceiling instead of down at the courts. It is a bright cave. I shot almost exclusively from the second floor viewing deck, so I could attain cleaner backgrounds and move more freely between the matches going on.
